Daniel Victor is a Juno-nominated award winning recording artist known most for his musical work as Neverending White Lights. His stunning debut album, Goodbye Friends Of The Heavenly Bodies yielded the emotionally charged # 1 hit single “The Grace ft. Dallas Green.”
Victor is known for his melancholic songwriting and cinematic studio production. His stylish composition has achieved commercial success landing him a loyal fan base around the world, accolades, and critical acclaim. His musical style is epic, heart-warming, and atmospheric blending a vast array of influences into a sound of its own. To date he has collaborated with artists such as Shawn Mendes, Lights, Hot Hot Heat, City & Colour, The Raveonettes, Our Lady Peace, Finger Eleven, The Velvet Teen, Shudder To Think, Hum, 311, Mogwai, Auf der Maur, The Watchmen, Mobile, Hawskley Workman, and many others.
Victor has also contributed to a number of projects including the Platinum selling album Sometimes by City & Colour and the triple platinum selling album The Beautiful Letdown by the California rock band Switchfoot. He has also contributed his writing to film and television, including shows such us Grey’s Anatomy, Las Vegas, American Idol, The Guard, Continuum, and Degrassi. In 2015 he wrote the theme song for the Canadian football Leagues campaign on diversity, This Is Our League.
Daniel is a devoted fan of all types of music and remains profoundly passionate about discovering new acts, attending live shows, and immersing himself in the experience of the art. In 2011 with a newfound interest in genre crossing, Victor experimented with Hip-Hop by collaborating with Juno-nominated artists such as D-sisive and J Diggz, the later earning him his second number one hit.
He continues to operate his own record label independently developing and creating new projects and encouraging up and coming acts to follow their dreams and share their talents with the world. Most recently he has begun writing his first book about Life & The Power Of Self-Mastery after spending several years studying consciousness, metaphysics, and self-healing with various spiritual teachers and energetic channels around the globe.
New to the blogosphere, Victor has decided to share his tastes, articles, and playlists with the world online in hopes of rekindling the world’s appreciation for musical creativity.
After a recent master class in mixology he has been working on a coffee table book and website highlighting the wonderful connection between classic albums and originally crafted cocktails.
As a known advocate of mental health awareness he has partnered with the Canadian Birdsong Foundation to spread awareness in support of changing the negative stigma tied to mental illness. This foundation offers grants to artists who suffer from mental health issues.
